George’s Majestic Announces Temporary Shut Down
As the Coronavirus begins to make it’s move into NW Arkansas, Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan has announced that all city-hosted meetings and events will be postponed until further notice, and is encouraging individuals, groups and organizations who are planning events and meetings to also postpone, reschedule or move to a virtual environment.
Local Live Music venue George’s Majestic Lounge on Dickson Street has released their announcement on Social Media in response to the Mayor’s suggestion.
Given the Mayor’s recent declaration of the State of Emergency for the City of Fayetteville, we will heed his recommendation and close immediately until the end of the month. Our patrons, staff, and artists’ safety is paramount. Shows during this time will reschedule and refunds will be given to those who cannot attend the rescheduled date. We encourage everyone to practice the CDC’s recommended safety and health guidelines. We will release updated information as available by email and social media. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.
